BASICS OF ONLINE ADVOCACY
Online advocacy is something we have been working on for a long time and we have finally made large strides. Our goal is to reach students where they "live". By advocating online we open up a whole new spectrum of volunteerism. We share volunteer opportunities, advocate for various issuses and non-profits, and share the awesome experiences our students have online.

Online media is changing all the time. Be proactive, try new things and don't be afraid to try something that fails.
Steps to SUCCESS!
  1. Know your purpose: Have in mind the reason behind your great idea and constantly refer back to that. Stay focused.
  2. Blog it: Keep all of your details and web media up to date. You usually get one chance to impress visitors.
  3. Expand and Advertise: Use various social media around you (ex. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to share your projects and help make more people aware of your topic.
  4. Audience: To get a following, be punctual reader’s questions, keep your information up to date, and engage in commenting on other websites and blogs
  5. Maintain Success:
  • Have original and well organized content that will be interesting to your followers
  • Don’t be afraid to try new things, explore other websites for good ideas, and expand your boundaries
